    Duties

    You will be responsible for performing various duties as and when required, including (but not limited to):

    • Develop a personal sales strategy and plan that matches the business aims / goals over the next short, medium- and long-term road map
    • Pro-actively build leads and opportunities through a variety of sales functions, use various approaches for building your own pipeline, including e-mail campaigns, calling and social activity to help build your own network
    • Manage ongoing sales activity by building an effective pipeline and utilising reporting and follow-up functions within our CRM (Salesforce)
    • Have a key knowledge of all services and solutions that the company offers, to be able to qualify an opportunity and work with internal teams to progress an opportunity through the sales cycle
    • Consult with our pre-sales team to design, develop and pitch technical solutions for customer opportunities
    • Ensuring all administration for your opportunities are completed effectively and to a high standard
    • Networking with companies in the industry to showcase our services
    • Quoting your customer base and maintaining a high level of account management at all times
    • Achieving team KPIs, call targets and revenue targets

    You will work within a shared environment, helping our customers with their day-to-day issues, as well as being involved with projects and deployments.

     

    With a passion for support and helping others, you’ll be providing a range of support functions that in turn help deliver our highly reputable standard of customer service.

     

    You should be a highly organised individual, with the ability to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy and agility and be committed to seeing every project through to it’s completion.

     

    Communication should be one of your greatest strengths, and you should excel at being able to review a situation or project, take a fair and level-headed approach, and give input and assistance into producing the required business outcome.

     

     

    Duties

    You will be responsible for performing various duties as and when required, including (but not limited to):

     

    • Logging incoming support tickets via email and via phone
    • Assigning applicable SLA’s to tickets
    • Assigning tickets to 2nd line technicians
    • Providing 1st line diagnostics “quick fixes” where appropriate
    • To assist the Technical Support Manager / Team Lead and business with any IT related queries

     

    We expect our engineers to have a competent knowledge or an understanding and willingness to learn the following:

    • Active Directory, DHCP and DNS, TCP / IP

    Our customers are located all around the UK, and in some instances, across the world. Although you will be predominantly be based on the service desk, you will be expected to travel occasionally to customer premises, with travel expenses, overnight stays and subsistence allowances provided.

     

    Skills and Experience

    The suitable candidate will have some IT experience, be competent in being able to handle IT issues and demonstrate an exceptional level of customer service.

     

    Previous IT experience is essential, with certifications or qualifications desired. Attention to detail will be obsessive and ensuring communication lines and stakeholders are kept up to date is essential.

     

    You will be a natural problem solver, looking at ways we can improve customer processes, systems and workflows.

    • Working with the marketing department to follow leads and opportunities to generate sales.
