    1. Duties

    You will be responsible for performing various duties as and when required, including (but not limited to):

    • Develop a business sales strategy and plan that matches the business aims / goals over the next short, medium and long-term road map.
    • Obtain new name customers aligned with our many service offerings, with a natural progression to an account manager, building on business relationships, selling more products into less clients, and feel like you are running your own business, with you in the driving seat for your earning potential and how you want to develop within the role.
    • Manage on-going sales activity through the use of effective pipeline forecasting, organisational mapping, contracts, proposals and legal management.
    • Become an integral part of the BID Review process, for new sales activity and high-profile tenders, working with key business stakeholders to drive the best possible solution for the oncoming client whilst upholding and ensuring business continuity is maintained.
    • Consult with our pre-sales team to design, develop and pitch technical solutions for customer opportunities.
    • Ensuring all administration for sales is completed effectively.
    • Working with the Marketing department to follow leads and opportunities to generate sales.
    • Networking with companies in the industry to showcase our services.
    • Quoting your customer base and maintaining a high level of account management at all times.
    • Achieving team KPIs, call targets and revenue targets.

     

    1. Skills and Experience

    We are looking for an individual who thrives off of gaining new customers and actively winning new business, a self-starter who is interested in technology and looking to gain a long career in sales.

    You should, to be considered for this role:

    • Have a knowledge of the IT services industry
    • Ideally have a track record of selling Microsoft Licensing, CSP and SPLA modules
    • Experience of selling connectivity, IT services and Cloud infrastructures, or at the very minimum a detailed understanding of these services

    As a technology business, we are always looking for energetic, forward-thinking IT professionals to join our business.

    You will be responsible for a team of junior engineers, who you will manage and assign tasks / incidents as required, as well as assist in developing their technical ability to resolve higher level issues as they arise.

    As a technical lead within the business, you should have at least five years’ experience working with the following technologies:

    ·        VMWare / HyperV

    ·        Windows Server 2016, 2012 and 2008

    ·        Active Directory, DHCP and DNS

    ·        Routers and Network Routing

    ·        Networking Infrastructure (Switches, Routers, Firewalls)

    ·        MS Office Applications

    Within the role you will have a clear technical understanding of complex customer networks and be able to liaise with the account management teams and customer contacts to suggest improvements to the businesses IT operation.

    You will need to effectively manage your team of junior engineers, ensuring that all projects and incidents are resolved within the set Service Level Agreements, as well as planning engineer site visits to customer premises as required.

    You should be a highly organised individual with the ability to complete tasks to a high level of accuracy and with a high level of agility, and be committed to seeing every project through to it’s completion.

    • Being the lead technical contact for customers for escalations and project requests, as well as a contact for pre-sales and account management teams to discuss potential system requirements / improvements for a customer
    • Managing and developing a team of junior engineers
    • Assigning and ensuring incidents are resolved within the set customer SLAs
    • Provide exceptional communication to internal stakeholders as well as the customer
    • Ensuring all tickets and incidents are assigned with the appropriate priorities
    • Manage and develop customer network access documentation and network design and management documentation
    • Lead change management meetings and authorise changes to customer infrastructure
    • Work on-site at customer premises as and when required
    • Plan­­ and manage technical projects and their delivery to customers
    • Ensuring junior engineers are developing and taking appropriate training courses
    • Identify and implement new technologies for our end customers with aid from commercial and sales teams
